Dutch quality, grown in Latvia

Two families, one farm, and Dutch growing know-how put to work in Latvian soil. We grow high-quality vegetables (potatoes, onions and carrots) alongside grain and raps, and bring them as close to the shelf as we can. Come and see how we do it.

Why work with Holland Agro

A vegetable grower on Latvian soil, run by a family that thinks in decades rather than seasons. Here is what that means for the buyers, supermarkets and traders in the Baltics who source from us.

01

Supply you can count on

When other growers turn to their grain, they stop lifting potatoes. We keep going, because vegetables are our focus.

02

Dutch expertise, local roots

We combine Dutch growing techniques with a team that lives in Latvia, speaks the language and knows the land it works. We want the region to gain from what we grow here.

03

We grow your vegetable

Chips, starch, fresh or table. We pick the variety and the care to suit where your crop is headed, rather than the reverse, and we sort and pack it to the size and format you need.

04

Family, for the long run

Two families own this company, and we will never sell it. You work with people who intend to still be here in twenty years.

What we grow

Vegetables come first: potatoes, onions and carrots, grown in Latvia and supplied fresh across the Baltics. Grain and raps carry the farm through the year. Seven crops in all, on roughly 1,300 hectares near Bauska.

Where our quality comes from

Quality begins with a conversation. We ask what matters to you, whether that is a full crate, a level pack, a particular size or a quick turnaround, and then we grow, sort and pack to match. Every crate of potatoes, onions and carrots is checked on size, skin and internal quality. If a batch does not suit one buyer, it finds the right home with another. Nothing of value goes to waste.
